Clan MacCorquodale:

The Clan MacCorquodale was a steamship built by Charles Connel & Company, Scotstoun, Scotland (Yard No. 354) for Clan Line Steamers Ltd. (Cayzer, Irvine & Co., Glasgow). Launched 04 September 1913 and completed the following November, the ship was 430.2 feet in length, 53.4 feet in beam, and 26.7 feet in draught, with a GRT of 5121 and a cruising speed of 11 knots.

The ship was powered by a steam triple expansion engine 3 cylinder of 679nhp. Engines by Dunsmuir & Jackson, Glasgow.

While in transit from Madras to London carrying general cargo, the ship was topedoed and sunk by the German submarine UB51 165 miles North-Northwest of Alexandria at 33.26N/27.57E.
