Ardent: Another ship that was sunk in the Suez Canal as a blockship during the Suez Crisis. The Ardent was an Egyptian tugboat of approximately 120 tons which was built by the French shipbuilding company Midi, Martigues in 1926. The Ardent was sunk as a blockship in 1956 and was raised and removed on 02 January 1957.
